Why we started
We knew the gap from both sides.
Alan spent years judging whether analysis could support a decision. Steven built the platforms that put models and services into production. Both had seen work pass its checks without anyone being able to say whether it behaved as expected.
AI made that gap harder to ignore. More work can be created than people can inspect by hand, and failures can stay quiet after release. We started Bohmian to give teams a way to check service behavior and keep the evidence, before and after deployment.
Our mission
Make service behavior something teams can prove.
A team should be able to state what a service must do, check it against real behavior, and see the evidence behind the result. That should hold for an ordinary API, a machine-learning service, or an agent.
What we believe
Trust should be backed by evidence.
Bohmian is built around a few durable ideas rather than a single model or review technique.

Evidence over confidence.
Assurance should leave behind evidence you can inspect, not just another score or model opinion.

Use the right judgment.
Checking a statistical method, a payment system, and a contract are different problems. They deserve different specialists.

Assurance requires the whole picture.
You can't know a system is behaving as intended by checking one part. You have to understand all of it, and how the parts work together.

Assurance should outlive the model.
Models, providers, and tools will keep changing. What your business needs to be true, and the evidence for it, should not start over each time.

More of the world's work is being done by AI. We believe the layer that verifies it is the most important one to get right. That's why we started Bohmian.
One of us spent a career building data and ML systems and judging whether their conclusions hold. The other, building the platforms and infrastructure those systems run on. Bohmian is both.
